Per Capita Media (PCM) is a national student newspaper and magazine led by students at the University of Cambridge, founded in August 2023 by Suchir Salhan & Anusha Salhan.
Per Capita provides university students the chance to undertake original, high-quality journalism that is not restricted by University boundaries, unlike most student papers. We’re an independent publication– a rarity within the student media landscape. Our magazine content is produced by students at the University of Arts, London, led by Jaydyn Ajadi and Rhiannon Scannell from The London College of Fashion and Erin Duxbury from Central St Martins as Associate Editor. We have contributors from Oxford University and UCL.
We’re passionate about encouraging secondary school and college students to access and actively contribute to a professional publication. The publication launched a programme called “Dialogue” in Lent 2023, designed specifically for secondary school students.
